You can attach this mower deck in a matter of minutes without even leaving the driver’s seat. All you have to do is line up your wheels, and drive over the deck ramps. Once you hear the PTO attach, you can lock in the gauge wheels, adjust to your desired cutting height and get to mowing!
Rough Mowing
For rough mowing - think bush hogging, ditch maintenance, clearing brush and small trees - we’ve got a couple suggestions. For the rougher jobs, a rotary cutter is ideal. You can clear an overgrown, weedy pasture in no time and no trouble, even on thicker brush. Although a flail mower can also handle rougher mowing jobs, it’ll be a little slower than the rotary cutter. As a result of their design and their slower cut, a flail mower produces a more manicured look by distributing the cut grasses evenly. Finally, it’s important to take the land itself into consideration - a flail mower is more flexible than a rotary cutter, and is less easily damaged by debris or rocks.
