The only thing I don't like about the mower is that the back rest on the seat is in a permanently fixed position making it uncomfortable to sit on and operate. The back rest needs to be adjustable.

I've owned 4 other John Deere mowers and after a month I think the X570 may be the best. We mow three contiguous family lawns totaling more than 3 acres. It beats up mowers over time with a mix of wet & thick grassy areas, the dusty and rough areas at the the edge of woodlands and some steep hills. So far the X570 has handled them all with flying colors. Granted it's still in the honeymoon stage but so far, the mowing, steering and improved console and controls are outstanding. It's the fastest of the Deere mowers that I've owned and even at close to top speed mows great. The PTO switch and deck lift are greatly improved from prior models and the gas gauge on the dash is an unexpected improvement. The only downside so far is the suspension. It's by far the bumpiest and roughest John Deere but overall, the good outweighs the bad.

Got a lemon!

Just this tractor in January but just started using it in April. I’ve mowed 8-9 times and John Deere has had to come get it 4 times already. Front tie bars failed the first 30 minutes of use. John Deere replaced them and the second time they failed again just driving down the driveway (paved by the way). The mower was set up with a three bag vac system. The vac system never seemed to work well and on the 4 th mow the belt started smoking. Dealer said the unit was not set up correctly. Two more cuts and the entire res assembly for the vac system fell off. After sending it back for the fourth time told JD I did not want it back.
